Description
Hojicha is a traditional Japanese roasted green tea, known for its warm, toasty aroma and naturally low caffeine. Instead of being steamed and ground like matcha, the leaves are gently roasted at high temperature, giving the tea its signature caramel-brown colour and smooth, comforting flavour.
The roasting process removes bitterness and sharpness, resulting in a tea that is mellow, nutty, and ideal for evening drinking or pairing with desserts.
Please note: This hojicha comes from the same family farm we previously collaborated with. It is not part of our collection with tea master Randy Channell Soei.
